Ignite Women’s Leadership Circle

Stanbic Bank Zambia working with other Standard Bank businesses in Southern and Central Africa have created a targeted leadership development program for women members of staff named ‘Ignite Women’s Leadership Circle’, led by our Regional Chief Executive Pindie Nyandoro. Stanbic Bank Zambia through Anakazi Banking was thrilled to host the launch of Ignite for Southern and Central Africa in Lusaka at the Yamene Leadership Centre. There were over 40 women from around the regional for the launch and first session. The Ignite Women’s Leadership Circle is designed to stimulate and accelerate the development of high potential women in the region, enhance their leadership capability, raise their level of self-awareness, and ultimately ignite their transformation to becoming exceptional leaders.  Speaking at the launch cocktail of the Ignite Women’s Leadership Circle, the guest of honour Dr. Tukiya Kankasa-Mabula applauded the Standard Bank Group for the Ignite initiative. She said it will play an immense role in grooming a crop of female leaders. The facilitator of the Ignite Women’s Leadership Circle training sessions is renowned Kenyan entrepreneur Dr. Patricia Murugami. She is the CEO and Founder of Breakthrough Consulting Solutions Limited a leading advisory firm whose focus is elevating authentic, transformational and inclusive leadership across the continent and globe. She is a leadership development professional driven by her self-belief in self-mastery and personal growth of others through the provision of next case solutions for leadership development.
