Anakazi Banking membership to the Global Banking Alliance
The Global Banking Alliance is a renowned consortium of financial institutions famous for supporting banks as they capture the opportunity of the women’s market. The consortium, which was founded in 2000, has a global presence in about 135 countries.
The Global Banking Alliance whose motto is building women’s wealth worldwide believes in women entrepreneurs and their untapped financial abilities. Stanbic Bank through its Anakazi banking initiative is a member of the GBA.
This means that Anakazi women are a part of the GBA and enjoy a wide range of services offered by the consortium to enable them become influential entrepreneurs by contributing to the economic growth of the country.

GBA’s All-Stars Academy is the first knowledge-building immersion program dedicated to increasing the capabilities of the financial services community to target women as a distinct market. The program complements and builds upon the GBA’s world-class peer learning activities, featuring experienced guest lecturers from member banks with thriving Women’s Market programs who offer their expertise on a variety of subjects related to developing and implementing a Women’s Market strategy and leadership development.
Enrolment is open to senior bank executives with responsibility for new business development, marketing or customer segments. The program is ideal for GBA bank members at the early stage of Women’s Market program development as well as banks that are seriously considering introducing a program.
